First Grade Curriculum Overview

About First Grade:
The first grade team is dedicated to building a community of learners. The children work collaboratively within their own classrooms and across the grade. As first graders, students perform investigations in Science and Math; develop reading and comprehension skills; and learn to write in response to the world around them. The boys and girls have opportunities to share their culture and heritage with one another, as they grow and develop into respectful members of Baker School.

Please feel free to download the First Grade Open House Powerpoint presentation that is attached to the bottom of this page for more detailed information about the First Grade Curriculum.
